About Dr Khan
Consultant Podiatrist, Special interest in Podiatric Dermatology
Dr Khan has been a podiatrist for over 30 years and serves patients in Australia, the UK and around the world. He has a special interest in podiatric dermatology, and rare genetic diseases. Dr Khan undertook a Doctoral Research (PhD) on Phytochemical, Biological and Clinical evaluation of Thuja occidentalis on Verruca pedis (plantar warts) at the University of London, and since then has specialised in warts, nail conditions and lower limb soft tissue pain and inflammation.
Dr Khan practices conventional podiatry, but has a special interest in integrated medicine and a holistic approach to podiatric care. One of the many techniques utilised includes Marigold Therapy. Read more about Marigold Therapy here

Dr Khan also has a special interest in rare genetic conditions including Keratoderma, Pachyonychia congenita and Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). These are genetic conditions concerning the fragility of the skin. He has written the first evidence-based clinical practice guideline on EB and footcare. He has strong links with DEBRA UK & Australia, charities for sufferers of EB and their families.

Outside of his work, Dr Khan loves to spend time with his wife, their three children and their dog. He is passionate about cooking, and enjoys travelling.
​
His current areas of research include the integrated management of plantar warts and verruca pedis, soft tissue pain and inflammation, plantar fasciitis, hallux valgus (bunion), epidermolysis bullosa, chronic corns, nail conditions, Psoriasis and wound healing.
