Marigold Therapy

What is
Marigold Therapy?

Marigold Therapy is a highly effective treatment for issues of the feet that consists of a combination of plant-based medication and podiatry. It is a topical treatment for corns, plantar warts (verruca), nail conditions (trauma, fungal, psoriatic and genetic) and soft tissue inflammation (bursitis, plantar fasciitis, bunions and heel pain).

The treatment is non-invasive, painless, quick acting and without adverse effects. It is suitable for people of all ages including children and the elderly, as well as those people in ‘at risk’ categories for whom surgery is contra-indicated.

Two marigold species, Tagetes and Calendula, have been used for centuries as herbal remedies for various ailments. The keratolytic, anti-viral, anti-fungal and and anti-inflammatory properties of Tagetes are what makes Marigold Therapy effective for podiatric conditions.

Marigold therapy has been used for over 40 years in the United Kingdom and has been evaluated by numerous randomized double-blind placebo-controlled studies for various skin issues on the lower extremity.
