At initial appointment, Dr Khan will take a thorough medical and social history to find the optimum treatment plan for each individual patient. Dr Khan will explain the condition and treatments thoroughly to ensure patient and family understanding, and will always aim to use the least invasive method of treatment possible.

Treatment normally commences at the initial visit, during which an application of the marigold paste is applied to the effected region and will remain in place for one week. Patients are able to carry out their normal daily routine.

Follow up occurs after one week, where the dressing is removed. If required, this process is repeated for another one or two weeks. This is then followed up with an ongoing home treatment program to carry out over a period of 6-12 weeks and, if needed, then reviewed back at the clinic to re-assess the condition.
